Google and Microsoft Compete For Engineering Talent
Alan Eustace, Vice President of Engineering at Google, was quoted as saying "The only reason to start a remote engineering office is to hire really talented people” and that "the Seattle area has an amazing amount of technical talent."
With Google and Microsoft now competing in the search engine arena it will be interesting to see what happens when Google and Microsoft start to compete for local employees.
A new angle on “local search” perhaps?
