With the number of personal blog sites on the increase it would not be too surprising for recruiters to identify blog sites as a way of finding potential candidates for new jobs.

Most personal blog sites usually publish a background profile of the owner. This can be of great value for recruiters looking for new employees.

For many years people have posted their resumes online and my view is that the resume is here to stay (for now).

However, I do feel we will see more and more personal blog sites replacing online resumes as a way of people promoting themselves to recruiters.
